BeaCraft 2.0.0+26.2
For Minecraft 26.2, and only 26.2. This is a rebuild rather than an update: 26.1 was the first unobfuscated Minecraft, Yarn mappings stop at 1.21.11, and nothing compiled before 1.21.11 loads on 26.x. Java 25 is now required.
The version number now carries the game version it was built for, as
2.0.0+26.2. The 1.0.0 listing once claimed nine versions it crashed on;
naming the build after its game version makes that mistake harder to repeat.
Ported to the official mappings
Every Minecraft name in the mod was translated, and a few things had to be rewritten rather than renamed:
- Inventory clicks go through the new container input path.
- Weapons and armour are scored from the item's own attributes and tags
instead of
SwordItemandArmorItem, which no longer exist. This works for any item, modded ones included. - Crafting reads the recipe book rather than a full recipe list, which the client no longer holds. Craftable items are therefore the ones this player has unlocked — the mod never offers a recipe the server would refuse.
- Screenshots use the game's own framebuffer read-back.
Baritone, optional
If Baritone is installed as a separate mod, BeaCraft will use it. Nothing of Baritone is bundled, and the mod builds and runs identically without it.
baritoneMode |
|
|---|---|
full (default) |
Baritone plans and walks, parkour included. Its look-noise is off and freeLook is on, so the head is still steered by BeaCraft. |
plan |
Baritone plans, BeaCraft walks. |
off |
BeaCraft's own A*. |
Switch it in game with /beacraft baritone off\|plan\|full. Baritone's path and
goal rendering stays off unless baritoneDebugRender is set.
Following a path
- Steps are ticked off with a block of vertical tolerance. Requiring an exact match on all three axes left the follower stuck whenever a landing, a jump or a swim put the feet a block off the planned height.
- Being stuck is now measured as ground gained, not as standing perfectly still. Rocking on the spot counted as movement, so nothing ever gave up.
- Overshooting a node recovers instead of turning around.
- Gathering finishes what it started. A target block cannot be stood inside, so walking to one always ends short; that was being read as "unreachable" and the block was skipped, which is why a tree lost two logs and was abandoned.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
