Project Flint — v22.4-a → v25.1-a Update Log
This update span significantly expands Project Flint beyond the early clay-and-flint stage, adding portable rest, woven equipment, renewable clay/glass, mortar construction, an Advanced Kiln casting tier, new Flint tools, processed wood, new slabs, animal-resource rebalancing, and a large set of UI/model/progression fixes.
v22.4-a — Filing, Rest, Masonry, Placement, and Survival Conditions
Sanding Paper and bone progression
- Added reusable Sanding Paper processing for vanilla dye-producing flowers.

- Bone Club originally entered this update span at 4.2 total attack damage / 1.0 attack speed.
Sleeping Bag
- Added the first Crude Sleeping Bag progression using 8 Woven Wool.
- Added support for all vanilla dye colors.
- Sleeping through the night grants a short Regeneration I effect.
- Breaking the early Sleeping Bag salvages Woven Wool instead of behaving like a vanilla bed.
Place in World system
- Added the configurable Place in World key, defaulting to
V. - Supported items can be placed flat on sturdy ground as physical world objects.
- Right-clicking placed items retrieves them.
- Attacking placed items does nothing.
- If their support disappears, they fall back into the world as normal dropped items.
Mortar progression
- Added Clay Mortar through the Clay Grinder.
- Added water processing from Clay Mortar into Unfired Mortar Bricks.
- Added kiln firing into finished Mortar Bricks.
- Mortar Bricks became one of Project Flint's first proper non-gravity construction materials.

v22.5-a — Sleeping Bag, Flint Harvesting, Squid Resources, and Raw Food
Sleeping Bag overhaul
- Rebuilt the Sleeping Bag as a proper linked two-block foot/head structure.
- Registered it as a valid vanilla bed-style sleep target so sleeping actually advances the night.
- Dyeing and breaking correctly affect the linked pair.
Clay Grinder
- Added 2 Twigs → 1 Branch grinding.
Flint Multitool harvesting
- Direct flower harvesting with the Flint Multitool now returns the whole flower rather than petals.
- Added direct harvesting support for Dead Bush, Bush, Firefly Bush, and Project Flint forage bushes.
- Deliberate held-flower processing remains the route for producing petals.

v22.6.1-a — Loose Dirt Slabs
- Added Loose Dirt Slabs.
- Right-clicking a placed Loose Dirt block with a Crude Multitool or Flint Multitool:
- converts the block into one Loose Dirt Slab;
- drops one additional Loose Dirt Slab;

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
