Shield drain protection Some players abuse a trick that wears down a shield’s durability almost instantly. This version tries to stop that. How it works:
Before a hit, the server remembers how much durability the shield has. If the shield loses a lot of durability in under 0.5 seconds, that loss gets undone. It also limits how much durability one hit can take off a shield. Maces and normal hits are handled separately.
You can turn it on in config: combat.antiShieldDrain Or mark a specific player with: /protection shielddrainer <player> on/off Marked players are saved in shield_drain.json. Their shields take extra durability damage.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
