- MELHOR INTEGRAÇÃO ENTRE SISTEMAS: Melhorada a integração entre Public Safety, World Events, personagens canônicos e Devil Hunters.
CHANGELOG
- NEW CANON CHARACTERS: Added Aki Hayakawa, Kishibe, Meowy, Power, Kobeni, and Himeno, alongside a major rework of Makima.
- NEW CANON PRESENCE SYSTEM: Canon characters can now appear at the Public Safety HQ and during specific World Events, remaining active for a period of time before leaving the area.
- CANON CHARACTERS IN WORLD EVENTS: Each character has their own valid World Event contexts and may replace or accompany generic Devil Hunters depending on the situation.
- GLOBAL CANON CHARACTER SYSTEM: Improved character presence management to prevent duplicates and ensure the same canon character cannot exist in multiple locations or events at the same time.
- CANON CHARACTER DEFEAT SYSTEM: For immersion and continuity, canon characters generally do not die permanently. When defeated, they retreat or disappear and remain unavailable for some time before being able to return.
- NEW CHARACTER RELATIONSHIP SYSTEM: Aki, Kishibe, Power, Kobeni, Himeno, and Makima now have their own relationship systems, with different ways to gain or lose points.
- RELATIONSHIP-BASED INTERACTIONS: Higher relationships can affect dialogue, behavior, and interactions, including allowing some characters to defend the player in certain situations.
- POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS DO NOT ALWAYS MEAN FRIENDSHIP: Different characters interpret positive relationships differently. In Makima's case, this may represent a more manipulative, asymmetric, or parasitic relationship.
- NEW CANON DIALOGUE: Added several character-specific dialogue lines based on personality, player relationship, context, and previous events.
- UNIQUE COMBAT AI FOR EACH CHARACTER: Every canon character has their own combat style, movement, priorities, attacks, abilities, and overall approach to fighting.
- IMPROVED MAKIMA AI: Makima received a major overhaul to her AI, combat, movement, abilities, behavior, dialogue, and integration with Public Safety systems.
- SPECIAL MAKIMA DEATH CONDITION: Makima can only be permanently killed using the Blood Chainsaw.
- IMPROVED DEVIL HUNTER AI: Improved Devil Hunter combat, movement, target acquisition, retreat behavior, positioning, and general AI.
- NEW BLOOD BAG SYSTEM: Added Blood Bags that can be used by Hybrids, Fiends, and Devils to store blood and use it later for recovery.
- MULTIPLE BLOOD BAG LEVELS: Blood Bags can exist at different fill levels, allowing blood to be collected and stored gradually.
- IMPROVED BLOOD BAG FEEDBACK: Added visual and audio feedback for collecting, using, failing to use, spilling, and other Blood Bag interactions.
- IMPROVED PUBLIC SAFETY PHONE SYSTEM: Improved the logic and integration of the Public Safety phone system with other mod mechanics.
- IMPROVED SYSTEM INTEGRATION: Improved integration between Public Safety, World Events, canon characters, and Devil Hunters.
- CODE OPTIMIZATION: Several systems were reorganized and optimized to reduce unnecessary checks, duplicated logic, and entity-management issues.
- BUG FIXES: Fixed multiple issues related to AI, entity presence, combat, events, and other internal systems. PLANNED
- BLOOD CHAINSAW ACQUISITION REWORK: In a future update, obtaining the Blood Chainsaw is planned to require a good relationship with Power, while also requiring the player to be the Chainsaw Hybrid or have Pochita nearby.
- BLOOD CHAINSAW ACQUISITION HAS NOT CHANGED YET: For now, it still uses the existing system involving Makima, the Blood Devil, and the Contract Altar, including the alternative route involving a Blood Fiend player.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
