Punchy v2.8g
Animation fixes
- Fixed a brief offhand flash during inspect animations and restored missing inspect sounds across affected versions. Thanks to shbashi for reporting these issues!
- Fixed throwable use animations when consuming the last item in a stack and when interrupting a two-handed equip animation.
- Custom animation movement settings now apply correctly during actions and item equip transitions, with smooth transitions back to idle.
- Fixed movement influence for two-handed animations so it applies to both arms while keeping single-arm actions isolated.
- Fixed custom item idle poses being applied twice through the locomotion layer.
- Preserved global arm position and rotation offsets during attacks and item equip transitions.
- Fixed custom item models and Model Parts returning through a neutral pose before reaching their idle animation.
Compatibility
- Fixed fishing lines attaching incorrectly to the rod when using Enchanted Fishing Line, including on Forge and NeoForge. Thanks to kura for reporting this issue!
- Added warnings when Punchy is installed alongside Hold My Items or Locomotion. The warnings appear after entering a world.
- Added a warning when no Punchy compatibility files or first-person animations are found in active resource packs. The warning appears when attempting to attack, mine, use an item or trigger another manual animation, and explains how to enable a compatible pack.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
