Molotov
- Throwable firebomb/molotov that ignites on impact, spreading fire across a randomized radius (8 to 15 blocks max)
- Ignited in-hand by right-clicking with a torch, fire charge, or lava bucket (same sources as Dynamite)
- Can also be ignited by right-clicking lit campfires, candles, torches, furnaces, fire, lava, or magma blocks
- Emits smoke and flame fuse particles while held or in flight
- Bursts on impact with glass-break and potion-splash sound effects plus a radial flame particle burst
- Direct hit deals 3 HP damage and ignites the target for 8 seconds
- Holding a lit Molotov for 30 seconds (full fuse) triggers fire spread around you and sets you on fire
- Dropped ignited Molotovs crack and spread fire on first landing (50% chance) or when the fuse expires
- LambDynamicLights: held, thrown, and dropped ignited Molotovs emit light level 15
- Custom kill messages for fire-spread death, direct impact, and holding it too long
- Animated lit model variant (custom model data threshold, same pattern as Dynamite)
- Crafting: White Fabric (top center), Glass (left, right, bottom-left, bottom-right), Fire Charge (center), Gunpowder (bottom-left corner, bottom-right corner) → 1× Molotov
Molotov Crafting Ingredients
- Spool of White Thread: craft with 8 White Wool surrounding a Stick (yields 2)
- White Fabric: craft with a 2x2 grid of Spools of White Thread (yields 4)
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
