Changes
Pyro 0.1.0
Initial beta release.
Added
Throwable Dynamite
- Craftable stick of dynamite that must be ignited before it can be thrown
- 4-second fuse (80 ticks) counts down in your hand and continues counting after you throw it
- Lands on the ground and detonates after the fuse expires — perfect for timed demolitions
- Hits an entity directly? Explodes on contact instantly
- Hold it too long and it detonates in your inventory — instant kill to the holder, splash damage to nearby entities
- Blast radius of 2.5 blocks (block destruction); damage reaches 5 blocks and scales with distance
Ignition Methods
- Off-hand (or main-hand) torch — supports Torch, Redstone Torch, Soul Torch, and Copper Torch
- Right-click a lit campfire
- Right-click a fire block (regular or soul fire)
- Right-click lava (source or flowing)
Fuse Item
- Dedicated craftable fuse item used as an ingredient in dynamite
- Shapeless recipe: 1× Gunpowder + 1× String → 3× Fuse
** Crafting Recipes**
- Fuse: 1× Gunpowder + 1× String → 3× Fuse (shapeless)
- Dynamite: Shaped 3×3 recipe using Fuse, Gunpowder, Sand, Red Dye, and Bamboo
- TNT: 9× Dynamite in a full 3×3 grid — replaces the vanilla gunpowder-and-sand recipe
Visual Feedback
- Unlit and lit dynamite have distinct item models so you always know when the fuse is burning
- Ignited dynamite item switches to the lit sprite the moment it's ignited
Optional: LambDynamicLights Support
- Install https://modrinth.com/mod/lambdynamiclights alongside Pyro for full dynamic light support
- Ignited dynamite emits full-brightness light (level 15) while held and while in flight or on the ground

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
