QuickCraft 1.0.4 Beta
This development beta adds an anvil equipment assistant, schematic material replacement and a separate entity material list. It also improves container verification, sorting, slot locking and large schematic 3D previews. These changes are relative to 1.0.3. Please report problems through GitHub Issues.
Anvil and crafting
- Added an anvil equipment assistant that compares equipment candidates, inventory enchantment books and operation orders. It prioritizes achievable target enchantments, then chooses a route with a lower experience cost. Preview the steps and costs before automatically combining books and enchanting equipment.
- Configure enchantments separately for each equipment type using localized names or enchantment IDs. Pickaxes have separate Fortune and Silk Touch profiles. Unavailable targets are skipped; crafting can resume after replenishing experience.
- Added an equipment crafting hotkey. Locked slots are skipped, and execution stops if items, costs or server results change. An optional creative mode setting applies target enchantments without books or experience.
- Added a continuous crafting limit, defaulting to 50 input batches per second; set it to 0 for no limit. Improved scheduling for crafting tables, the inventory 2x2 grid, stonecutters and anvils.
- Improved server acknowledgement and cleanup for ordinary crafting, reducing extra acknowledgement requests. Fixed leftover cursor items, incomplete output collection with slot locking enabled, and some special recipes failing to start.
- Made batch crafting safer when ingredient counts differ, preventing collection of outputs with different components after an ingredient runs out. Improved stonecutter restocking, bulk anvil renaming and output handling when the inventory is full.
- Shulker crafting now prioritizes boxes with fewer remaining ingredients and caches their contents to reduce repeated scans.
Schematic materials and replacement
- Added a visual material replacement interface with item name/ID search, main-hand item selection and batch replacement using Ctrl + left-click selection.
- Configure block and container content replacement separately. Container rules can apply to a material, a container group or an individual slot, including item names and quantities. Block replacement preserves schematic state properties and correctly handles doors, beds and double-height plants.
- Save manually replaced blocks and container contents as a new schematic copy while preserving the source file.
- Added global replacement allowlists for blocks and container contents. These affect loaded schematics only; manual rules take priority. Global rules do not affect material lists or saved copies.
- Added a separate entity material list covering entities placeable in survival, item frame contents and armor stand equipment, with golems and withers converted to their construction materials. Improved navigation between block, container and entity material pages.
- The material HUD now includes items inside inventory shulker boxes. An optional setting also counts ender chest contents and nested shulker boxes, using Quick Shulker synchronization when available. Without synchronized data, open an ender chest once first. This affects HUD counts only, not automatic collection or restocking.
Container verification, filling and collection
- Identical container verification results can be grouped, with highlighting for the whole group.
- Retain verification results and the HUD per schematic and dimension during the current world/server connection, restoring them when returning to that dimension. Retention of material and verification ignore entries can be enabled separately. These states are held in memory and cleared on leaving the world or disconnecting.
- Added optional pagination for material lists, container details and schematic/container verification results, with buttons and mouse wheel navigation. Disabled by default.
- Fixed toggling nonempty schematic container highlighting clearing verification results. Highlighting now updates as actual container contents change.
- Fixed automatic filling taking more material than the actual shortage, collection capacity checks and temporary shulker box returns. Boxes that cannot yet be returned remain in the inventory with a retry hint.
- Cached material HUD and shulker contents statistics to reduce scanning. Optimized schematic bounds queries for 26.x container verification and strengthened inventory data reading across versions.
3D previews and rendering
- Extended progressive previews with batched static and dynamic mesh construction and uploads. Optimized large schematic reading and older data conversion to reduce loading stalls.
- Moved translucent face sorting to background tasks and reused sorting indices and loading caches to reduce repeated preview work.
- Cache saving now runs independently in the background. Improved task retention during fullscreen transitions and resource cleanup after cancellation, read failures or upload failures.
- Added a one-time force-render option for oversized schematics, relaxing rendering budgets for that task only. Exceeding available memory or VRAM may still freeze or crash the game.
- Fixed translucent face coordinates, preview lighting, Continuity connected glass and rendering context issues. Restored progressive loading previews on 1.21.5 and corrected translucent buffer allocation. Older mesh caches will be regenerated.
- Improved preservation of entity equipment and visible inventory data in previews, and fixed GPU buffer cleanup after upload failures on affected versions.
Sorting, slot locking and interaction
- Added container and inventory sorting buttons, shown by default. With button dragging enabled, use Shift + left-click to move them and Shift + right-click to reset. The inventory button sorts the main inventory, excludes the hotbar and skips locked slots.
- Added a separate inventory lock-all button on container screens, sharing the player inventory lock state. Hold the slot lock hotkey and drag across slots to toggle them in bulk; each slot changes only once per gesture.
- Matching item transfer highlighting now has configurable color and opacity. Fixed lock icons being covered by items on some older versions.
- Improved GCA fake-player inventory sorting while protecting control slots, including support for inventory markers used in GCA 2.12.6 and earlier. Fixed creative inventory slot recognition and restored sorting protection for crafting input grids. Experimental bundles on 1.21 also support bundle sorting.
- Fixed container ghost item positions and opacity on 1.21–1.21.5. Ice-for-source-water placement now supports both soul sand and magma block bubble columns.
- Fixed empty buckets targeting the wrong position in free camera and temporary easy-place state not being restored after errors. Added guidance for Tweakeroo's player input setting.
Configuration and compatibility
- Consolidated multi-version implementations and adapters while retaining the existing Minecraft 1.21–26.3 builds. Fixed compatibility with declared minimum Fabric Loader and Fabric API versions on affected targets.
- Fixed mouse input adaptation on 26.3 and opening local folders on Windows. Reduced injection conflicts involving schematic saving and some interactions.
- Reorganized configuration groups, expand buttons and indentation. Added optional Modrinth update/announcement notices and detailed crafting/3D preview diagnostic logging. Diagnostic logging is disabled by default.
Requirements and known compatibility
- Fabric API and MaLiLib are required. Schematic features also require the matching Litematica version.
- Shulker crafting and automatic restocking require Quick Shulker integration; install the client/server components required by those features. Free camera enhancements require Tweakeroo with freeCameraPlayerInputs enabled.
- Singleplayer includes built-in schematic entity placement. Multiplayer requires Carpet-FGA Addition with the matching entity placement protocol and the appropriate rule enabled.
- Incompatible with Tech Utils. Using IPN or Item Scroller alongside QuickCraft is not recommended. If installed together, disable IPN continuous crafting/automatic restocking and Item Scroller's 1.12 crafting fix to avoid crafting interference.
- Minecraft 1.21.x requires Java 21; Minecraft 26.x requires Java 25.

Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
