- Expanded heat, steam, combustion, and combined-cycle generation.
- Added and reworked several industrial generators, turbines, boilers, and heat-recovery systems.
- Improved generator behavior under partial load, full grids, and waste-heat conditions.
Heat & Thermal Systems
- Reworked thermal energy accounting across machines.
- Improved heat generation, transfer, consumption, and waste handling.
- Expanded external heating and industrial thermal processing.
Metallurgy
- Major metallurgy overhaul covering steelmaking, alloys, furnaces, material forms, and bulk processing.
- Added the Industrial Blast Furnace and restructured furnace progression.
- Reworked ore, powder, ingot, nugget, coke, flux, slag, and related material handling.
- Removed or corrected numerous unrealistic material shortcuts.
Chemistry
- Major chemical-processing overhaul.
- Reworked Chemical Reactor behavior, energy requirements, inputs, outputs, and fluid handling.
- Expanded multi-fluid infrastructure and industrial chemical production.
- Rebalanced batch sizes, utility requirements, and production rates across large portions of the chemistry system.
Bulk Production
- Increased practical throughput for construction and commodity materials.
- Reworked batch sizes for concrete, asphalt, soil, water treatment, acids, fertilizers, polymers, gases, and other high-demand materials.
- Reduced excessive grind while retaining industrial-scale resource and energy requirements.
Machines & Progression
- Audited machine recipes, costs, capabilities, and progression placement.
- Rebalanced machines whose performance did not match their construction cost or intended role.
- Added, replaced, renamed, or deprecated machines where needed to improve progression.
- Improved early-game power and industrial progression.
Fluids & Infrastructure
- Improved fluid quantities, tank capacities, piping, and machine integration.
- Added shared multi-fluid piping support.
- Standardized fluid handling across more machines and processes.
UI, NEI & Information
- Improved machine GUIs, tooltips, fluid displays, and electrical/thermal ratings.
- Expanded NEI information for industrial processes.
- Fixed numerous missing, incorrect, or broken recipe displays.
Fixes & Consistency
- Large audit of recipes, material conversions, machine behavior, fuel handling, and process accounting.
- Fixed numerous progression blockers, invalid recipes, incorrect quantities, and inconsistent machine rules.
- Improved overall consistency between energy, chemistry, metallurgy, fuels, and industrial production.
RTM 3.X is effectively a full Real-Sim overhaul of HBM's industrial systems, starting with oil processing and extending through performance, energy, heat, chemistry, metallurgy, machines, infrastructure, and progression.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
