- Best Friend
Secret Modifiers
- Added the purple Secret modifier tier
- Secret modifiers have a combined 0.1% chance per regular random spawn and cannot be obtained through Random x5 or Roulette
Modifier Guide
- Press G to open the modifier guide; the key can be changed in Controls
- Modifiers start hidden and become visible when they appear during play
- Discoveries are saved for each player in each world
Modifier Changes
- Firefly and Firefly II now light up their surroundings instead of making mobs glow
- Sleepy now sleeps for 2 seconds and stays awake for 5 seconds; sleeping mobs lower their heads and emit small Z particles
- Sleepy and Just Watching keep falling and can be pushed instead of floating in place
- Bound keeps its mob within 15 blocks of its player
- Magnet pulls less strongly, making it easier to escape
- Summoner summons every 4-11 seconds
- Thunderbringer strikes every 7-15 seconds
- Timer explodes after 20 or 25 seconds, with a slightly stronger explosion
- Baby Warden fires a sonic attack every 5 seconds
- Wizard applies its first harmful effect after 2 seconds
- It's a Trap! spawns 2 zombies or skeletons wearing JudeLow's head; each has a 25% chance of diamond armor
- Withered Touch is now Normal
- Firefly II is now Easy
- Renamed Ars to Envy, AAAAA, THE SUN! to BURNING SUN!, and Hey where are you going to HEY! ITS MINE!, including its second version
Modifier Fixes
- Fixed incompatible Random x5 combinations that caused modifiers to interfere with each other
- Helpers no longer hurt each other or players, including attacks from their projectiles; friendly status survives mob conversions
- Helper damage now follows the mob's normal attack damage, with a 2 HP fallback for mobs without an attack
- Envy now helps players with an empty inventory until they obtain an item
- HEY! ITS MINE! now steals from random inventory slots
- Fixed What a gift! stopping after its first item. It now drops an item every 1-2 seconds
- Fixed Roulette restoring health when switching to Side Boss, including rerolls at very low health
- Side Boss health bars remain visible after stopping random spawning
- Block-placing modifiers no longer overwrite command blocks, barriers and other protected blocks
Commands & Balance
- All commands now start with /randommob
- Refreshed /randommob modhelp with highlighted commands
- Added spawn interval suggestions for 5, 10 and 180 seconds
- Click a blacklisted mob in the list to remove its ban, or use /randommob blacklist removeall to clear the list
- Command feedback is private unless it announces a time, blacklist, chat-message or difficulty change
- Difficulty choices are listed as Easy, Normal, Hard, Chaos
- Modifier names in spawn messages show their difficulty when hovered
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
