Readable Gravestones lets players write and read custom epitaphs on supported gravestone blocks.
Right-click a gravestone to read its inscription, or sneak-right-click to edit it with a six-line editor and live gravestone preview.
Epitaphs are stored server-side in the world save, and editing is locked to the player who placed the gravestone.
Features
- Read custom gravestone epitaphs with right-click
- Edit with sneak-right-click
- Six-line epitaph editor
- Live gravestone preview
- Larger first line for names
- Long-line fitting to prevent overflow
- Server-side saved text
- Owner-only editing permissions
Built for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
