Changes
v1.0.1:
- Re-enchanting now rolls the new enchantments before touching the item. If the table has nothing to offer for it, the item keeps its enchantments and you pay nothing. In 1.0.0 the old enchantments were removed first, and the item could come out with none.
- Curses stay on the item when you re-enchant it, the same way the grindstone keeps them.
- On 1.21 and later, the backup roll only picks enchantments the enchanting table can give (the in_enchanting_table tag). 1.0.0 could give Mending, Soul Speed, Swift Sneak, Wind Burst or a curse from the table.
- Players without the mod, on a server that has it, now keep the three offers when they put the lapis in after the item. In 1.0.0 the offers disappeared from their screen.
- Each file now targets its own Minecraft version and needs Fabric Loader 0.15.0 or newer (0.19.2 on 26.x).
- New: Minecraft 26.1 to 26.3, and versions for Forge and NeoForge.
- Install it on the server, or in singleplayer. Clients joining a server do not need it.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
