[1.4] - October 23rd
Added
- Light Optimization Feature
- Rebuild Chunker Feature
- Efficient Chunk Feature (chunk building leaves more CPU for the game)
- Real 1% and 0.1% lows in the F8/F9 reports
- F9 spike timeline (shows when stutters happen and if they’re memory cleanup)
Changes
- Saved settings now stick (they were forced on every launch)
- Zoom is smoother: moves every frame, scroll glides, even zoom steps
- Zoom mouse speed matches the zoom level; cinematic camera is now optional (off)
- Chunk workers no longer drop work and still respect your worker limit
- Shadow Fix uses real turn speed (stops shadow blinking)
- Shadow cache reuses memory instead of allocating every frame
- Features that are turned off skip all their work
- Settings file saves safely
- Entity culling only hides entities 8+ chunks away that are behind terrain
Fixes
- Entity culling hid every entity
- Background Chunk Updates wont save the setting
- Possible crash from the chunk worker slider
- Wrong distances on 26.1/26.2 (measured from the world’s 0,0,0 point)
- Cave culling put sections back in the wrong order
- Zoom could save your lowered mouse speed
- F8/F9 reports could crash the game
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
