Changes
Ricoshot 1.1.0 (Minecraft 1.21 - 1.21.1)
This update completely overhauls how you configure Ricoshot, introducing a proper settings menu with brand-new customization sliders!
Compatibility
- Minecraft: 1.21, 1.21.1
- Mod Loader: Fabric Loader >=0.19.2
- Dependency: Fabric API, Mod Menu (11.0.2)
- Java: 21
New Features & Changes
- Full Mod Menu Integration: The old, clunky "pause menu coin button" has been entirely removed and replaced with a proper, natively integrated Mod Menu configuration screen!
- Custom Targeting Radius: You can now use a slider to set exactly how far (in blocks) a tossed coin is allowed to search for a target.
- Custom Heart Damage: The confusing distance-multiplier math has been scrapped! You can now use a straightforward slider to set the exact base heart damage a standard Ricoshot inflicts on a mob.
- Explosion Sound Toggle: Added a configuration option to enable or disable the TNT explosion sound effect when an arrow successfully strikes a coin.
- Action Bar Toggles: You can now seamlessly toggle the on-screen action bar popups directly from the new config menu.
Core Features (Refresher)
- Coin Toss: Place gold nuggets in the off-hand and a bow in the main hand. Right-click to throw a coin.
- Ricoshot: Shoot the flying gold nugget with a bow. The arrow redirects to the nearest mob, dealing critical damage.
- Perfect Split: Shoot the coin at the exact peak of its throw for an Ultraricoshot!
- Shield Parrying: Block incoming ricoshot damage with a shield.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
