Changes
Completely overhauled Minecraft soils
Added 44 new blocks
All new blocks can be found in the “Natural Blocks” tab of the creative inventory
Topsoil blocks come in grassy and normal forms
In most biomes, grassy topsoil can spread to other soil types, converting them to grassy topsoil
When grassy topsoil dies, it becomes regular topsoil
Grassy topsoil naturally dies in very hot biomes (badlands, desert, savanna, and nether biomes)
Grassy topsoils still require silk touch to drop as their grassy forms
Renamed blocks:
- “Grass Block” is now “Grassy Mollisolic Topsoil”
- “Mycelium” is now “Purple Lichen”
- “Dirt” is now “Mollisolic subsoil” (subject to change)
- “Podzol” is now “Podzolic Topsoil”
- “Mud” is now “Muck”
- Blocks and spawning rules listed in greater detail in the mod description
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
