RomeCraft II – A Historical Roleplay Experience
Step into the grandeur of the Late Roman Republic (circa 100 BC) with RomeCraft II, a meticulously crafted resource pack designed for immersive historical roleplay. Whether forging alliances, building a life, or engaging in rich cultural interactions, players will experience the ancient world with a depth and authenticity rarely seen.
Featuring seasonal changes, custom armor and items, professions, and an emphasis on historically accurate roleplay, RomeCraft II is more than a server—it’s a journey into the past. And while our focus is on realism and detailed storytelling, we also embrace mythological elements to add intrigue and excitement to the gameplay, blending history with legend.
Accompanying the server is the RomeCraft II: Mithridatvm Resource Pack featured here, designed to enhance the world’s aesthetics for single-player adventurers and dedicated roleplayers alike. With access to dozens of custom armor, banners, and beautiful vases, our work is truly an epic experience. Currently the resource pack is catered towards the server development but over time will become more comprehensive and include more customizable features.
Join us and become part of a thriving, historically rich community, where your story unfolds within the legacy of Rome.
Who Can I Play As?
While the Roman Senate & historical figures like Julius Caesar are not accessible to players, there are still countless opportunities to immerse yourself in the era, whether as a Roman citizen, a Cappadocian from Melitene, or a Seleucid embracing Hellenic, Roman, Celtic, and the many other cultures of this region.
Romans will be encouraged to participate in either the Legion as soldiers or as citizens in the city of Lycia. Special rights will be given to players who earn the favor of their Patrons such as access to rural properties known as villas while the majority of players are restricted to the urban insulae and domus (apartments and suburban homes).
Hellenic players will operate through city-states known as Polis with the exception of some like the Seleucids which operate as an empire. Players will be encouraged to create their own experience as the harsh environment forces citizens to unite against the wilderness and opposing factions.
As time progresses and the playerbase expands, we will then allow more factions to be formed with the support of staff developers including but not limited to building, terraforming, customized banners and armor, and much more!
