🔥 Ruby Merchant Overhaul
The Ruby Merchant has received a major trade upgrade!
- 💎 All Ruby Merchant trades now use Ruby Coins.
- ❌ Emerald payments have been removed from Ruby Merchant trades.
- 🔥 Traders now focus exclusively on OP, rare, and valuable loot.
- 📈 Loot quality increases progressively across all three tiers:
- Tier 1: OP & rare loot
- Tier 2: More powerful and rarer loot
- Tier 3: The craziest and most valuable end-game loot
- 💰 Ruby Coin prices have been balanced to remain affordable for SMP gameplay.
📢 Trader Spawn Notifications
Whenever a Ruby Merchant spawns, all online players receive an action-bar notification.
Example:
Tier 1 Trader Had Been Spawned!
Coordinates: X: 120 Y: 64 Z: -340
The notification automatically shows:
- Trader Tier
- Actual X coordinate
- Actual Y coordinate
- Actual Z coordinate
This works for Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 traders.
🍎 Ruby Apple Balance Update
Ruby Apple has also been rebalanced.
❤️ Normal Ruby Apple
- Provides 30 hearts
- Existing effects remain
- Effect duration reduced to 20 minutes
✨ Enchanted Ruby Apple
- Provides 50 hearts
- Existing effects remain
- Effect duration reduced to 20 minutes
The previous extremely long effect duration has been reduced to make Ruby Apple more balanced for SMP gameplay.
⚙️ Other Systems
The following systems remain unchanged:
- Ruby Coin
- Ruby Shop
- Trader spawning schedule
- Tier system
- Anti-duplicate spawning
- Trader identity
- Existing Ruby Apple registration
- Existing mod architecture

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
