Changes
Major Changes
- Added a radiation suit:
- it reduces high/deadly rads to low rads and low rads to no rads
- Provides the same amount of protection as leather but has the same enchantability as iron
- is crafted with lead plates and plastic sheets
- Added a new villager the Wastelander
- They will trade scrap items and antirad pastes for canned food!
- Added an ammo pouch item: this bag can contain a large amount of bullets and ball bearings, the item is still in the works however so dont use more than one. Also expect bugs around it. Most weapons work with it, however the pipe revolver doesn't.
- Added Toxic sludge, its a radioactive fluid.
- It emits high rads when near and deadly if you swim in it.
- This sludge generates in pools around the world
- If the sludge touches dirt it will transform it into wasteland dirt, if it touches water it will transform it into more radioactive sludge.
- When touched by lava it forms radioactive rubble, another new block akin to radioactive waste.
- Added a suite of dehydrated foods, they're slightly better than the cooked vanilla variants.
- These are gained when opening a package of dehydrated food.
- Canning bench changed to Cooking station
- Added a cook function to the canning bench, its faster and more efficient at cooking food than a furnace or smoker.
- The Fab SMG has received a new model!
- It also has a few new animations!
- Added two new mobs, the rad zombie and rad beast.
- The rad zombie emits rads when near the player and when killed it explodes into a radioactive explosion. This explosion inflicts 1000rads to nearby players and transforms certain blocks into their wasteland counterparts
- The Rad beast is a massive reptilian like creature, its fast, tanky, and deadly.
- Added a craftable turret, you can ride it and shoot stuff while riding it.
- Requires a turret ammo box in your hand while riding it to fire, these are crafted by making an empty box and offhand loading it with pistol bullets. "Hold bullets in main hand and ammo can in off hand"
- Rad decay is now slightly faster.
Minor Changes
- Several items no longer have placeholder sprites
- All firearms have had their damage and ammo capacity tweaked, most have slightly less ammo by default.
- Added two new large structures: an abandoned hospital and a large bandit camp.
- Added a ui to the Geiger counter, it displays on the lower lefthand corner while you have the geiger counter in a hand.
- You can right click with it in a hand to take a reading of your rads at the current time.
- Lowered the spawn rate of radioactive waste, but introduced 2 new radioactive blocks
- The rad cleanser and anti rad paste now have an additional effect that reduces rads for a short time.
- Tweaked how rads work, theres now 3 tiers, rads should perform better now as well
- Tweaked many things to the server side, should improve the feel of some things. "hopefully"
- Fixed the reload on some weapons
- Added a new junk item, the old watch. provides gold nuggets when disassembled or smashed
- Added the ability to sift dirt for seeds
- Added a hotkey to pump the airgun, defaults to F
- Most projectiles can now penetrate glass and can hit entities behind it.
- Most bullets detonate tnt on shot.
- Added hand loading recipes for bullets, these are inefficient but will work in a pinch.
- The air rifle now deals more damage when its at full pressure, goes from killing a zombie at 4 hits to 3 at max pressure.
- And many more changes!
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
