Fixed bugs with "flying blocks"
Gravity between two physical constructs would keep pulling them into each other even after they made contact, fighting against the collision engine every tick. This caused ships to jitter, clip into each other, or suddenly get launched away — especially noticeable on larger flat contact surfaces (e.g. 2×2×2 builds).
Gravity now behaves correctly once two bodies touch:
Regular gravity between a touching pair is replaced with a gentle constant "stick" force, calculated from the same masses as normal gravity, so it doesn't spike or fight the collision engine. Detaching two stuck bodies now just requires enough outside force to overcome that stick force (heavier objects hold together more firmly, same as gravity itself). Gravity toward every other nearby object is unaffected — only the touching pair is calmed down.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
