Inventory windows and controls
- Adds smart sorting inside an inventory, beside the existing transfer-sort button. Compatible stacks merge, valuables appear first, related items stay together and bulk terrain appears last. Modded items and optional sorting-category overrides are supported.
- Keeps complete windows inside all four screen edges, including after resizing or changing GUI scale.
- Updates Character to vanilla-style slot and player-preview positions, removes the Health/Hunger/XP text, adds bottom spacing and a compact crafting arrow.
- Fixes recipe books needing two clicks after reopening and chest lids staying open when persistent windows are hidden.
- Removes Minimize and Ghost Pins. Normal pins, saved positions and Persistent Windows remain available.
- Adds rebindable Window Movement Control with Hold/Toggle settings. Hold-to-close follows the player's vanilla Inventory binding, including mouse bindings.
- Restores the hotbar and indicators during movement control when Return Hotbar to Inventory is enabled. Hidden hotbars cannot change the held item through scrolling or number keys.
Optional integrations and configuration
-
Adds Mouse Tweaks drag and wheel support across inventory windows, including supported custom windows. Fixes wheel transfers continuing after a crafting result runs out.
-
Adds optional Spatial GUI support: the same desktop appears as one bounded 3D panel, with smooth opening, closing and movement-control transitions, working camera control and aligned hotbar feedback.
-
Fixes the Fabric Mod Menu Config button without requiring the Compatibility extension, along with NeoForge startup and ordinary movement issues.
-
Prevents the regular-window tutorial appearing automatically with an alternative workspace such as Controlify. Manual help remains available.
-
Expands the public API for custom HUD layouts, Character attachments, equipment and joined inventory panels.
-
Adds shared editable artwork across versions and loaders and fixes resource-pack loading on Minecraft 1.21.11.
Core works independently. Matching optional releases are Compatibility 0.1.2 and Controlify 0.1.1.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
