Changes
v1.2.0-1.21:
-
Change: Piercing no longer lets spears/tridents/blazearms pierce through entities. It does still let it penetrate through shields with lower levels of Shielding, and let it penetrate through with 50% chance for equally matched levels.
-
Change: Skewering now mutually exclusive with Piercing, preventing a bug when the two are together.
-
Change: Thrusting now no longer grants a damage bonus while walking/standing still.
-
Change: Thrusting now grants an extension of reach by 1/4 blocks per level.
-
Change: Sweeping Edge now grants (2level + 5)/12damage against swept entities.
-
Change: Shield Framing Template recipe is cheaper.
-
Change: Mod fishing rods now have reduce fishing wait time by 7 ticks per tick for copper/gold, 4 ticks per tick for iron/netherite, and 12 ticks per tick for diamond.
-
Change: Elder Guardian Spike Shard drop chance is now 50% when killed by player, regardless of Looting level.
-
Change: Shield min breaking damage nerfed for all shields.
-
Change: Blazearms, Tridents, Maces, Heavy Cores, and Elder Guardian Spike Shard (Bones) are Uncommon rarity.
-
Change: Density now grants +1.0 damage per level.
-
Addition: Projectile Deflection now increases probability of blocking piercing projectiles when Piercing and Shielding levels are matched, at +12.5% per level.
-
Addition: Added #sassot:immune_to_whirlwind & #sassot:immune_to_flare entity type tags. Customise with datapacks to make certain entities immune to Whirlwind and Flare.
-
Addition: Netherite Fishing Rod now upgraded from Diamond Fishing Rod.
Ongoing Issues:
- Some mod loot tables are currently unenchanted/unaffected by Looting. This will be addressed in a future update.
Future Plans (not limited to):
- Configs for gameplay parameters (client & server)
- +bettercombat version when Better Combat is updated to 1.21 (Might take a while, this recent update cycle probably affects the mod significantly).
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
