Seismica v1.5.0
Realism
Radar intensity maps now account for hypocentre depth — a deep quake no longer displays surface intensities several levels higher than what is actually felt All equipment now reports the same estimate for a given event. Previously a seismograph, radar and EEW station could each show a different magnitude for the same quake Reworked intensity attenuation: the highest bands (XI, XII) now cover a visible area around the epicentre, while weak shaking spreads much further out than before Low intensities are finally noticeable — MMI I gives a brief 0.7s tremor, MMI II about 1.5s, MMI III a light shake Maximum hypocentre depth raised to 100
Destruction
Collapse thresholds are now set per material: cobblestone VII, stone / brick VIII, concrete IX, iron and reinforced concrete X. Mixed builds average out between them Buildings behind the wavefront are re-checked for the duration of the shaking instead of getting a single brief chance, so structures near the epicentre no longer survive intensities that should level them Far more probe points per pass, plus a grid sweep at high intensity, so narrow towers and thin walls are no longer missed entirely
Interface
MMI colour key down the side of the Advanced Radar scope Facing direction indicator on all radar and fault map screens The terrain map now scales with the radar's zoom level Radar and fault map rendering rewritten — opening a scope no longer causes heavy frame drops
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
