Changes
๐ฏ Entity Rendering & Placement Accuracy
- Fixed Low Entity Height (Y-axis): Fixed a major positioning bug where carried mobs were rendered too low (around knee/shin level). Mobs are now properly positioned at chest/chin level matching the
original Carry On mod.
- Accurate 1:1 World Scale: Added scale compensation to counteract
PlayerRenderer's internal scaling factor ($15/16$). Carried entities now render at their exact intended scale without unintended downscaling. - Fine-tuned Distance (Z-axis): Calibrated the forward distance offset (
+0.03f) to ensure mobs sit seamlessly in the player's carrying arms without clipping into the torso. - Full Sneaking / Crouching Support: Integrated
doSneakCheckto dynamically lower carried objects along with the player's body dip when crouching.
- Accurate 1:1 World Scale: Added scale compensation to counteract
โก Compatibility & Stability
- CarryOnScript Support: Added support for Carry On script transformations (custom scale and position overrides for special/modded entities).
- Null Safety: Added null-checks to block and entity rendering pipelines to prevent potential crashes with unexpected states.
- Clean Mixin Mappings: Added
remap = falseon mod-target mixin points to resolve compiler mapping warnings.
๐งน Optimization
- Cleaned up boilerplate and debug code. The shader-compatible renderer is now streamlined and permanently active in the background.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
