A Terraingen mod implements "Large Scale Terrain Generation from Tectonic Uplift and Fluvial Erosion"
Improved terrain with some simple noise and some stratum, but result is great. New Features, But still won't generate some vanilla biomes because I don't know how to fit them in terrain.
