Changes
v2.2 - what's different from the beta version
Changes
- Added 3 new advancements: "That Feels Illegal" (obtain bedrock), "I'M FREEEE!" (free a soul), and "Don't Think About It Too Hard" (craft a bundle of sticks).
- Rearranged some blocks & items in the Creative inventory to better match Vanilla blocks & items.
- Added Netherite Nuggets.
- Changed the recipe for crafting Amethyst Blocks.
- You can now get Amethyst Shards by uncrafting Amethyst Blocks, similar to other minerals.
- Sculk is now craftable.
- Major bug fixes.
Blocks & Items
- Reworked how the Soul item works: You can right-click with it on the ground to free the soul and get a reward (might cost a bit of HP), or you can use it to attack other people for a small buff (you won't get the reward, but it will still hurt you).
- Changed the textures for the Ruby item and Block of Ruby so it looks nicer.
- Added Polished Netherrack.
- Also comes in Stairs, Slab and Wall variants.
- Added Stairs, Slab and Wall variants for the following blocks: Polished Packed Mud, Polished Dripstone & Quartz Bricks.
- Added Netherite Nuggets.
- Can be used to craft Netherite Ingot.
- Can be obtained by smelting Netherite armor and tools.
Recipes
- You can now craft Sculk by placing Echo Shards in a 2x2 crafting grid, similar to how you'd craft Glowstone.
- You can now craft Amethyst Blocks back into Amethyst Shards.
- The recipe for Amethyst Blocks has also been changed to require 9 Amethyst Shards instead of 4.
- Added some missing stone-related recipes in the Stonecutter, these include but are not limited to: Polished Andesite/Diorite/Granite Walls from regular Andesite/Diorite/Granite blocks, Chiseled Andesite/Diorite/Granite Bricks from Polished Andesite/Diorite/Granite, Polished Stone from regular Stone, Stone Bricks/Stairs/Slab/Wall from Stone, and much much more.
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug where Rainbow Carpets wouldn't update properly and could result in floating carpets.
- Fixed how the Rainbow Bed and Carpet looks in the Inventory, Item Frames, on the ground, in first & third person AND on the player's head to better match other beds/carpets (no more huge rainbow carpets).
- Attempting to place a Rainbow Carpet in-air now drops itself instead of just deleting the block.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
