π¨ Memory Preserved & π’ Weightless Creatures Update (Version 1.6.0)
Welcome to the 1.6.0 release of Small Logic Tweaks! This update currently focuses on Minecraft 26.3, introducing routine anvil preservation and delicate mob protection for turtle eggs. Corresponding releases for Minecraft 26.2 and 26.1.2 will be added in upcoming updates.
β¨ Added
π¨ Memory preserved (Anvil preserved):
- Preserve repair cost: Repairing tool durability with raw materials or like-items and renaming tools no longer increase the Prior Work Penalty (
RepairCost). - Progression-only penalty scaling: Only applying new enchantments or upgrading existing enchantment tiers will increment the anvil penalty cost.
- Configurable: Added
ENABLE_ANVIL_PRESERVEDtoggle in the configuration file (default:true).
π’ Weightless creatures:
- Delicate footsteps: Floating, winged, and ethereal creatures (bats, bees, allays, phantoms, ghasts, parrots, vexes) no longer trample and destroy turtle eggs when flying or landing on them.
- Data-driven entity tag: Introduced
#small_logic_tweaks:cannot_break_turtle_eggsentity type tag to fully customize which delicate mobs are exempt from breaking turtle eggs. - Configurable: Added
ENABLE_WEIGHTLESS_MOBStoggle in the configuration file (default:true).
βοΈ Changed
- Modular architecture: Decoupled codebase into a shared
commonmodule and platform-specific loader modules to prepare for multi-loader support in future releases. - Distribution JAR optimization: Excluded internal GameTest classes and DataGenerator files from the production distribution JAR and sources JAR, reducing artifact size by ~20% (from 97.6 KB to 78.6 KB).
Status: Release. Feedback is welcome!
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
