2.1.0: Configuration update
You can now turn each AI feature on or off and adjust its settings. The mod creates config/smartmobs-common.toml on the first run. Restart the game after editing it.
Available settings include:
- Zombies: block breaking, bridges, pillars, and wall tracking range from 1 to 128 blocks.
- Skeletons: sniper AI, range from 8 to 64 blocks, and the accuracy multiplier (listed as 1.0–5.0× damage).
- Spiders: web attacks.
- Creepers: wall explosions, charged spawning, napalm effects, spawn chance, and tracking range.
- Endermen: combat teleportation, Slenderman-like proximity effects, ranges, chances, and cooldowns.
The config uses ForgeConfigSpec with validated defaults. All features stay enabled by default, and the defaults match the previous behavior. This update is backwards compatible.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
