Changes
Added
- Snow Under Trees (Fabric) is now Snow. The mod id is now
snow. (#357) - Snowlogging: snow can cover small plants in the
snow:snowloggableblock tag, and breaking the snow leaves the plant alone. (#357) - Snowy leaves: leaves turn white while it snows in cold biomes. Client-side only, works with Sodium and Iris. (#357)
- Better snow generation: snow generates in several layers that follow the terrain, keeps layering up while it snows, and each biome has its own depth through the
snow:snow_profiledatapack registry. (#357) - Gradual melting, melting in warm biomes, and shovel harvesting of snow layers. (#357)
- NeoForge support! (#357)
- Serene Seasons support: snowfall, snowlogging, melting and snowy leaves follow the seasonal temperature, and Serene Seasons' own melting removes one layer at a time when gradual melting is on. (#357)
- Server-synced config: the server controls the settings on multiplayer and only op players can change them in game. (#357)
Changed
- Snow under trees now works in every biome that is cold enough to snow at ground level, instead of a configured biome list. Modded biomes no longer need to be added by hand. (#357)
- Snow under trees uses the vanilla snowfall tick instead of its own chunk scheduler, so the "Snow Update Limit" option is gone. (#357)
- Snow under trees keeps falling under trees whose canopy already has snow on top. (#357)
- The config moved from
snowundertrees.config.jsontosnow.json, with new option names. (#357)

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
