Changes
Added back the Minecraft 26.2 build — first update since 1.0.12 (Aug 26), brought fully up to date.
Rendering
- Fixed partial rendering: delayed re-mark passes catch chunk sections whose initial mesh finished before the schematic data landed (permanent holes at world join)
- Fixed schematic boxes going stale: placement moves, enable toggles and sub-region edits refresh automatically every 20 ticks
- Fixed blocks around light sources rendering black when the schematic light cache has no entry — the world's light is used instead of forcing 0
- Fixed a permanent 1-second rebuild/respawn loop: change detection now uses a stable box baseline, so the growing coverage list no longer re-triggers a full rebuild every tick
Entities
- Fixed block-attached entities (item frames, paintings) losing their attachment with "invalid position" errors: Entity.load re-reads the Pos tag and silently falls back to (0,0,0) when it is missing, wiping the pre-load position — Pos is now retargeted at the world position instead of being stripped
- Fixed ghost block entities and entities not appearing, and ghost duplicates from the startup retry rebuilding without cleanup first
- Fixed entity spawn retries (previously dead code): 20-tick throttled, 5 attempts, give-up warning
- Fixed schematic entity position and yaw transforms for rotations and mirrors
Placements
- Fixed SOLID placements rendering as NORMAL: modes are keyed by the placement's stable hash/UUID (name collisions and numeric suffixes no longer swap modes)
- Fixed saved per-placement modes being lost on restart
- Fixed ghost entities of NORMAL placements being hidden in mixed per-placement setups
Controls
- Changed the default menu key from F8 to J in all builds (existing custom bindings and old F8 configs migrate automatically)
- Removed the broken pause-menu button; J opens the configuration screen directly
Stability & polish
- No more pre-join log spam: empty-data warnings and refresh work only run while in a world
- Slow retry: an empty schematic list is retried every 200 ticks instead of stopping after the fast startup phase
- Real failures are reported once instead of flooding the log; verbose diagnostics are behind -Dsolidschematic.debug=true
- Fixed the hardcoded "1.0.14 loaded" startup line (now reads the version from mod metadata)
- Sodium is now a hard dependency (declared in fabric.mod.json) — a clear "missing sodium" error instead of a cryptic mixin crash
- Fixed a scroll out-of-bounds crash / Done-button overlap in the placement config screen
- Fixed the menu hover sound (played CLICK instead of HOVER)
- Fixed the easeOutBack animation curve
- Entityculling whitelist now uses an O(1) set lookup (was O(N) per entity per frame); entity dedup now accounts for rotation/mirror
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
