Sol's Relic System
Minecraft's equipment into a full-blown RPG artifact system. Every weapon and armor piece that enters your inventory becomes a Relic โ a piece of equipment with randomized stats, an XP-based leveling system, crit mechanics, set bonuses, and much more.
1.21.1-v1.5.8
Compatibility
Changes
v1.5.8
๐ Luck System Improvements
- LUCK% now properly affects loot drops! Luck from equipped Relics and set bonuses now increases your chances of receiving additional loot from chests, mobs, and supported modded loot sources.
- Updated Luck scaling:
- Every 1% LUCK provides a 0.5% chance for an additional loot roll.
- At 100% LUCK, you reach the maximum 50% bonus loot-roll chance.
- For items dropped directly by Relic System, Luck instead increases their existing drop chances.
- Example: With 20% LUCK, you gain a 10% chance for an extra loot roll and a 10% relative increase to direct Relic System drop rates.
- Luck now also affects Aster Cores, Resonance Cores, and Dust of Enlightenment dropped directly by Relic System.
- Improved Luck compatibility with vanilla and modded loot, including rare drops such as Wither Skeleton Skulls.
โ๏ธ Relic System Fixes
- Fixed a crash when hovering over certain modded armor, including the reported Knight Quest armor issue on NeoForge 1.21.1. Similar fixes were also applied to Forge 1.16.5 and 1.20.1.
- Fixed an issue on NeoForge 1.21.1 where animal armor could incorrectly affect Relic stat scaling on player armor.
- Fixed whitelisted items sometimes not receiving Relic stats, even after restarting the server.
- Relic stats are now automatically applied to eligible items when players join, obtain new items, or have their inventories restored by other mods.
- Fixed Relic stats sometimes appearing missing when a player's local whitelist settings differed from the server's settings.
- Improved Relic stat consistency after respawning, reconnecting, and restarting the server.
๐ฎ HUD Improvements
- The Phantom Combat Lock HUD indicator is now optional and disabled by default for a cleaner interface.
- Players who prefer having a combat timer can still enable it through their configuration.
- When enabled, the indicator now appears in the bottom-right corner by default.
- The HUD position can still be customized through the configuration settings.
๐ป Commands & Configuration
- Updated the command system! All Relic System commands now use
/sol relicsystemfor better consistency with other Sol mods. - Removed the old
/srsand/solsreliccommands. - Available commands:
/sol relicsystem helpโ View all available commands./sol relicsystem infoโ View information about your currently held Relic./sol relicsystem statsโ View your total equipped Relic stats./sol relicsystem stats <player>โ View another online player's Relic stats (operators only)./sol relicsystem reloadโ Reload all Relic System configurations without restarting the server (operators only).
- Improved configuration reloading. Server operators can now apply changes to all Relic System configuration files immediately, including item settings, player attributes, and set bonuses.
- Configuration changes now automatically update online players' Relic stats and applicable settings.
- Improved configuration organization and consistency across supported Minecraft versions.
๐ ๏ธ Compatibility & Stability
- Fixed Item Rarity compatibility. Sol's Relic System now correctly recognizes Sol's Item Rarity v1.7.2 and newer.
- Fixed Resonance advancements on Forge 1.16.5. Advancements now unlock only when players obtain the required Resonance Core or Dust of Enlightenment, instead of triggering from unrelated inventory changes.
- Improved handling of invalid or broken configuration files to prevent unexpected startup issues.
- Invalid configuration files no longer prevent the mod or server from starting. Errors are reported so server owners can identify and fix the affected files.
- Reloading configurations now checks for errors and keeps previously working settings when a file cannot be loaded.
- Improved overall reliability and consistency when applying Relic settings, equipment bonuses, and inventory changes.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
