Changes
This is a major update for Soul Candles which finally adds colored soul candles
Additions / Changes
- Added colored soul candles
- These are available in the 16 vanilla dye colors
- Crafted by combining a soul candle and the corresponding dye
- They have different colors from the vanilla candles, so you can tell them apart (kinda like how terracota and concrete have a color difference)
- Very slight texture change to the soul candle to be more consistent with vanilla Minecraft
- Fixed a pixel in the texture of the soul candle item... yup that's it
- New mod icon
Bug fixes
- Fixed bug where soul candles had incorrect lighting (the light level remained the same regardless of the number of soul candles placed)
- Fixed bug where the Cake with Soul Candle didn't drop the soul candle when broken
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
