The Initial Release of Soul Items!
Welcome to the official launch version of Soul Items for Fabric 1.21.1! This mod completely changes how you acquire and progress your gear in survival mode by removing the standard ore grind and introducing adaptive, self-leveling tools.
Core Features:
- Thematic Survival Spawning: Level 1 custom tools are consolidated exclusively inside the Ancient City. Search the rare Ice Box Chests near the center corridors to find them.
- Balanced Drop Mechanics: Each Ice Box chest has an exact 50% overall chance to contain a starter soul tool. To keep gameplay balanced, the powerful sword has a slightly lower individual drop rate compared to the pickaxe, axe, and shovel.
- Organic Progression Loop: No messy new ores or forced recipes. Your weapons and utility tools upgrade dynamically as you use them — gaining power and unlocking special mechanics with every block you mine and mob you defeat.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
