Changes
Species 1.0.1 — NeoForge 1.21.1 This update adds more control over Species content for servers and modpacks, with interface and behavior fixes across existing features.
- Content configuration: server administrators can disable races, Aquarian lineages, and individual abilities using config/rpgspecies-content.json. Existing characters keep their saved species.
- Editable lore: config/rpgspecies/lore/pt_br.json and en_us.json now provide organized, line-by-line stories for races and lineages.
- Interface: layout adjustments for character creation at different GUI scales and improvements to Compendium text display.
- Undead bats: adjustments to companion following and player defense behavior.
- English localization: the lineage name is now Triton (singular) in selection and appearance screens.
- In-game reload: /speciesrules reload refreshes content restrictions and lore. The final reload fix prevents invalid lore from leaving clients with outdated restrictions.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
