Changes
StepCraft Mod - Update Changelog
Release: Incremental update (Minecraft mod only)
Key Highlights
- Improved Claim Rewards slot placement so reward items respect custom blocked/masked layout slots.
- Added configurable status elements for Claim Rewards:
status(loading state)status_empty(no rewards state)
- Added overlap support so
statusandstatus_emptycan share the same slot. - Improved editor behavior for overlapped elements, including active-target cycling and clearer help text.
Claim Rewards UI Changes
- Reward icons now prioritize open, unblocked content slots.
- Background slot overrides in content area are treated as blocked first.
- If every content slot is blocked, placement falls back to non-control content slots.
- Status slot reservation is now state-aware:
- Loading: reserves only
status - Empty: reserves only
status_empty - Rewards present: reserves neither, so rewards start at first valid open slot
- Loading: reserves only
UI Editor Improvements
- Overlapped elements can now be managed better in-editor.
- Added overlap focus behavior so active/top element can be switched.
- Added explicit helper text for overlap target switching and active-name editing.
New/Updated Layout Keys
- Added:
claim_rewards_menu.status_empty - Existing:
claim_rewards_menu.statusnow used specifically for loading-state visuals.
Compatibility Notes
- Existing configs continue to work.
- New key is auto-supported through layout config loading/default registration.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
