New Entity: The Eye of Endless War
- The Eye of Endless War is spawned by the Warfare Spawner at the cost of 200 Resource Points, provided that:
- The Warfare Spawner has more than
1000 + (current number of Eyes × 1000)Resource Points, and - There exists a reachable special target for the Eye.
- The Warfare Spawner has more than
- After spawning, the Eye will absorb Resource Points from the Warfare Spawner until it reaches 300 points, then it will seek out the special target.
- If its own Resource Points drop below 150, it will return to the Warfare Spawner's location.
- If the special target is not in the same dimension as the Eye, and the target's location is being interfered by the Dimensional Infiltration Protocol, the Eye will consume 50 Resource Points to teleport to the target's dimension. Once teleported, the Eye will no longer return to the Warfare Spawner to replenish points.
- If no reachable special target exists, the Eye will continue absorbing points until it reaches 500 Resource Points.
Combat Abilities:
- When encountering enemies, the Eye attacks with slashes and projectile generation.
- Against special targets, it unlocks special abilities:
- Dark Gaze: The Eye roars and releases particle effects. Non‑ally entities within 50 blocks with light level below 7 receive negative effects. Costs 1 Resource Point.
- Same Eye, Different Bodies: The Eye provides vision to allies without a target, emitting bell sounds and rune particles. It sets the target of any ally within 50 blocks that has no current target to the special target locked by the Eye, and teleports allies that are between 50 and 100 blocks away to itself. Costs 1 Resource Point per ally teleported.
- Breeding Ill Omen: When no allies are nearby, the Eye consumes Resource Points to spawn three allies (Creeper, Spider, and Zombie). Costs 1 Resource Point per ally spawned.
Changes to Protective Layer Protocol:
- This upgrade now requires 1500 Difficulty Progress and 500 Resource Points to unlock.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
