Changes
Behaviour changes
- A deferred hit now re-checks melee reach before it resolves. Stepping out of a mob's attack range while it swings makes that hit miss instead of landing from a distance; the delayed attack used to skip the range check the vanilla AI performs.
- The same fix applies to every supported loader and Minecraft version.
New
- Per-entity attack windup multipliers via config/strikeafterswing/windup.json, e.g. {"minecraft:husk": 20.0}. Values multiply the vanilla swing duration (default 1.0), and they scale the swing animation and the hit timing together, because vanilla drives both from the same swing duration.
- The file is re-read while the server runs, so edits apply within a couple of seconds without a restart. Deleting it falls back to vanilla timing; a file that cannot be parsed keeps the last good values.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
