Brown mushrooms are renamed to portobello. Red mushrooms are renamed to toadstool, and like in real life, you may not want to eat them.

The new shelf mushrooms are renamed to poplar polypore, as they grow only on poplar trees, like how birch polypores in real life grow on birch trees. Unlike birch polypores, these ones are safe to eat.

Mushroom stews are now distinct, based on their source. Toadstool stew inflicts poison, warped stew inflicts nausea, and crimson stew grants fire resistance. The rest have no special effects.
