Changes
1.1.0
Ports
- New: Fabric 1.19.2, Forge 1.21.1, Forge 1.21.11
- Removed: Fabric and NeoForge 26.1 and 26.1.1 — use 26.1.2
Fixes
- Fabric (all versions): after hitting a mob through grass, the grass stays visible on your screen instead of disappearing until the next block action
- Forge 1.19.2: releasing attack, or finishing a block that does not break at once, no longer attacks the mob behind it a second time
- NeoForge 1.21.11: no more “Couldn't load mod/swingthroughgrass pack metadata” twice on every world load
- 1.21.1, 1.21.11, 26.1.2, 26.2, 26.3: reach through grass matches your entity interaction range (effects, equipment, other mods). On 1.19.2 and 1.20.1 it stays 3 blocks (5 in creative)
Compatibility
- Server-side: required on the server (or in singleplayer); clients without it can join
- Fabric: Fabric API and Architectury API (Architectury new)
- NeoForge: Architectury API (new)
- Forge: Forge only
- Fabric 26.1.2: Fabric Loader 0.19.5+
Unchanged
- Which blocks you can hit through (grass, ferns, flowers, and similar: not air, no fluid, no collision)
- Which mob is hit (closest one not hidden by a solid block)
- The plant stays when the hit lands
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
