Sync is now truly automatic. âïž No more duplicates, no more outdated versions.
What's new
- đïž Automatic duplicate cleanup on the server: if two versions of the same mod are lying around in your folder, SyncModPack keeps the newest and deletes the old one at startup â no more "mod loaded twice" crashes.
- đ Automatic mod updates: at startup, the server fetches the latest release or beta version of each mod from Modrinth and installs it. Alpha versions are deliberately skipped (too unstable). Can be turned off via
config/syncmodpack-autoupdate.txt. - âš Cleaner MOTD: sync data is now invisible in the server list â your decorative MOTD stays clean.
Install the mod, join a server, play. No external launcher, no network config.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
