1.3
Compatibility
Changes
🩸 What's New in v1.3? This update adds depth to combat and survival, making armor more valuable and tracking wounded enemies possible.
✨ New Features
-
Bloody Footprints: Leaving a trail! If you are bleeding and moving on the ground, you will now leave dark red blood droplets on the floor. Be careful — other players can now track you down by your trail.
-
Armor Protection: Heavy armor now actually protects you from bleeding! Each armor point reduces the chance of receiving the "Bleeding" effect.
-
Example: A full set of Diamond/Netherite armor reduces the bleeding chance by 80%.
-
Improved Blood Visuals: Blood particles now have better physics and color, looking more like thick, dark blood rather than generic red blocks.
🔧 Tweaks & Technical
-
Movement Logic: Blood footprints only appear when you are actually moving on the ground, preventing "blood puddles" from forming while standing still.
-
Performance Optimization: Optimized particle spawning to ensure no lag during heavy combat.
-
Config Sync: Bleeding chance calculations are now more consistent with the configuration file.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
