Changes
Major Version Update - 1.1.0
Dice Changes
- Dice will now float to the surface if landing in water
- Dice now "slide" a bit more than before when thrown
- Dice and Big Dice now operate a bit differently depending on their momentum
- Dice and Big Dice can now push each other (even when stationary)
- Big Dice now get pushed into the direction you are pushing from (regular Dice are still fully random)
- Big Dice are now harder to keep combo'ing the higher the score gets
- Adjusted gravity while rolling down blocks
Die-Caster Changes
- Damage numbers no longer show in chat but rather show as a floating text above the affected entity's head
- When rolling a 6 on damage when shooting Dice using the Die-Caster, it now counts as a "critical hit"
- A Critical hit will display a floating 'CRIT!' text near the affected entity
- A Critical hit will make a ding noise for the player using it and to another player if they are hit with a critical strike
- The Die-Caster now has a custom death message when a player is killed by one;
- Player1 has gambled away their life to Player2 (or Skeleton)
- Player1 lost a bet to Player2 (or Skeleton)
- Player1 has been Diced Up by Player2 (or Skeleton)
- Dice shot by a player using the Die-Caster now drop turn into a dropped Dice item after 5 minutes (if positioned in a loaded Chunk)
- Each Luck level now passively grants 0.5 (Fishing) Luck when holding a Die-Catcher with the Enchant in your inventory
Custom Advancements
- There are now 2 new Custom Advancements;
- Let's go Gambling! - Obtain a Die-Caster
- The House Always Wins - Kill a Die-Catcher Skeleton
- Jackpot! - Land a Critical Strike using the Die-Caster
- Snake Eyes - Spill a Dice Bundle resulting in two 1's
- Money Shot - Ricochet a Dice off of a block using the Enchantment resulting in a Kill
- The House Always Wins - Kill a Die-Catcher Skeleton
Custom Statistics
- You can now track the following statistics;
- Dice Rolled
- Highest Combo
- Crits Landed
- Ricochet Dice
Bug Fix
- Fixed a bug where if a player picks up a Dice of any color from the floor while holding Dice of another color it would then turn the Dice into the color of the held Dice
- Fixed a bug where the Die-Caster's first bounce without the Ricochet Enchantment kept its full momentum
- Fixed a bug where when combo'ing a Big Dice and then shooting it with a Die-Caster, it would count up multiple combo points rather than just one
- Fixed a bug where shooting a Dice at an Enderman using the Die-Caster made the Dice disppear
- Fixed a bug where you could crouch + right-click and place a Dice in mid-air
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
