Existed since 1.14, Sawblade is a datapack that overhauls the Stonecutter, adding over 900* interactions to it!
These new interactions are designed to make Minecraft sense while also adding a lot more fun!
📜 Features:
- Added 900+ new things Stonecutter can process:
- Salvage materials from Vanilla craftables!
- You get the full amount back, but can only choose one material.
- Craftables using replaceable materials can only be cut into what said materials can create.
For example: Wooden things can only be cut into Sticks - For reasons found over the years, not everything can be salvaged.
- Scrape off polish, wax, oxidation from blocks!
- Cut wood into blocks!
- To not make the Crafting Table obsolete though: Some blocks are only accessible via Crafting.
- Cut stairs into slabs, and more!
- Salvage materials from Vanilla craftables!
- Stonecutter can also damage things standing on it! I mean, it is a huge sawblade.
- Special cases are applied to Villagers and Sulfur Cubes for more gameplay value.
- This also sends block updates each time damage is dealt, so you can do fun Redstone stuff!
- In-game Settings: Customize Sawblade to fit your worlds!
- To get started: Simply type
/function tdp.config:sawblade/damagein chat.

- Works well with my other datapacks!
- Works in Multiplayer!
- Made and maintained with lots of care. Hope you enjoyed it!

🎉 Special Thanks:
Special thanks to these awesome people for keeping the lights on:
If you like the effort that goes into making all this, help me keep the lights on so I get to do this more often!
📝 PS:
- Each version was designed and optimized for their respective Minecraft release, so you'll always get the best performance and features possible for the releases you're playing on.
- I could make builds that supports multiple versions at once, but it also means adding extra stuff only to support game releases that it won't be run on. It just doesn't make sense to me.
- Due to Modrinth's limitations, this version is not the best of what I've got.
*: As of 1.21.11, there are 919 new interactions with the Stonecutter.
I swear all of these are in here for a reason, I've made tools to make sure this is the case.
