1.3.0-1.21.5
Compatibility
Changes
New Features:
Added the Crimson Tea Bush (generates naturally in Crimson Forests in the Nether).
Added the Sculk Tea Bush (appears when the Warden interacts with a Tea Bush).
Added new tea types: Crimson Tea, Coral Tea, Sculk Tea, as well as Perfect Green Tea and Perfect Black Tea.
Added new tea cups:
-
Broken Nether Cup (can be obtained by trading with Piglins),
-
Broken Nautilus Cup (can be obtained by killing an Elder Guardian while having the Conduit Power effect),
-
Broken Reinforced Cup (can be crafted by striking a block of Reinforced Deepslate with a mace while holding a clump of Yixing Clay in the offhand).
These cups must be repaired before use:
-
The Nether Cup is repaired on a crafting table using Nether Bricks and Yixing Clay and is used to drink Crimson Tea.
-
The Nautilus Cup is repaired by using its broken version on an Active Conduit block while holding a Nautilus Shell in the offhand and is used to drink Coral Tea.
-
The Reinforced Cup is repaired by using it on a Reinforced Deepslate block while holding an Echo Shard in the offhand and is used to drink Sculk Tea.
Changes:
The Tea Bush can now drop Perfect Tea Leaves if it is growing on farmland in a Cherry Grove biome and has no adjacent blocks.
The Chakhai can now store up to 6 charges of tea of a single type.
Green Tea now removes only negative effects, instead of all effects.
Black Tea now removes all effects, but restores 2 hunger points for each negative effect removed.
The “Garden’s Blessing” effect now improves bow accuracy while sneaking.
Updated textures for Boiled Water, Daisy Tea Leaves (again), and Pale Tea Leaves.
The Tea Handbook has been deprecated (it can still be obtained using /give @s teamod:tea_handbook). The mod’s guide will now be maintained on Modrinth.
Unfortunately, all advancements have been removed for further rework.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
