Changes
Version 1.0.3
Fixed
- ConcurrentModificationException crash on death of a player with active Grandma Mode — the effect's
onMobRemovedwas removing helper effects (Slowness/Weakness/Mining Fatigue) while vanilla was iterating the active-effects map. The death cleanup happens inAFTER_DEATHoutside the iteration anyway, so the duplicate path is now a no-op - First-person Grandma animation was hiding the head/body/legs of other players and mannequins rendered in the same frame. The model is a singleton shared across all Avatar renders, so the local player's TAIL hook setting
skipDraw=truecarried over. Reset now runs on every Avatar at HEAD, before the player-specific logic
New
- Grandma Mode now works on mannequins — splash one with Grandma's brew and it'll get the walker in its offhand and play the shuffle animation. The animation system was refactored from
Player-keyed toAvatar-keyed (Player and ClientMannequin share that supertype) so the network payload, render state, and animation maps all flow through any humanoid - Grandma Mode lockout is comprehensive — players can't act while shuffling:
- Left-click melee on entities → cancelled (was already the case)
- Left-click on blocks (start breaking) → cancelled
- Right-click on entities / blocks / in-air items → cancelled (no drinking potions, throwing arrows, opening containers, eating, placing blocks)
- F-key offhand swap → blocked server-side via a
ServerGamePacketListenerImplmixin; no more one-tick walker flicker - Q-key drop of the walker → walker is also now globally undroppable; any dropped walker ItemEntity is discarded on spawn
Changed
- Frying pan no longer affects Damage Dice — punching one with the pan used to fling it across the room and play the metal-hit / crit sound (the dice itself was already immune to vanilla damage, but the pan procedure still applied knockback + particles + sounds + advancement). Right-clicking to consume the dice for a Strength roll is the only intended interaction
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
