Changes
Added some diversity to mercenary loadouts. Almost every merc has got an alternative primary and a secondary to spawn with and an updated AI to properly use it:
Heavy:
- Tomislav, Huo-Long Heater, Natasha.
- Shotgun
Scout:
- Shortstop
- Mad Milk
Engineer:
- Widowmaker
- Short Circuit
Sniper:
- Huntsman
- Jarate
Soldier:
- Direct Hit
- Buff Banner
Medic:
- Crusader's Crossbow
- Quick-fix
Pyro:
- Phlogistinator
- Flare gun
Demoman:
- Loch-N-Load
Spy:
- Ambassador
Other changes:
- Mercs now can spawn wearing armor (configurable)
- Mercs now react slower to a target after restoring line of sight with it. Before it was immediately.
- Mercs now teleport to their hold point after some time if they are stuck somewhere and can't get there by walking.
- Fixed mercenaries' melee damage being incorrect.
- Chargin' Targe improved to be more useful and more like it's counterpart from TF2.
- Jarate texture and model changed.
- Updated building textures (mainly fixed some cube faces not being colored)
- Retextured engineer because the old model and texture were too messed up.
Added Voice Commands (without the voice). Similar to how it is in TF2: the player presses "Z" and then a number button on keyboard. The Commands are:
- Medic! - Makes nearby medic heal the player if he's not too busy
- Help! - Aggroes nearby friendly mercenaries to whatever is attacking the player
- Go! Go! Go! - Makes THE CLOSEST owned by player merc go where the player is looking
- Activate UberCharge - Makes medic activate ubercharge
Each individual command can be binded to any key but all of them are accessed by pressing "Z" + 1-4.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
