1.3.0 Changelog:
Made large changes to how configurable mountains are as well as the default config that Mantle Mountains ships with. New config includes:
- Erosion Noise: Adds erosion detail noise to slopes and peaks
- Peak Sharpness: Adds sharpness to the very peaks of mountains
- Macro Variation and Scale: Makes certain parts of a mountain range higher than others to prevent uniformity on peaks.
- Texture Amplitude and Frequency: A vanilla TFC value I've exposed as a config that adds more rocky looking roughness to mountains.
- Foothills Width: Controls how wide the transitional band of biomes is between low areas and mountains.
This update is also NOT save safe due to the new config defaults, though TFC has just released 4.2.2 which changes worldgen slightly so you'd have had to gen new chunks/new save either way if you wanted to update.
1.2.0 Changelog:
Updated to TerraFirmaCraft 4.2.0 version. Default mountain scaling has been reduced to 1.5 to account for increased height changes in vanilla TFC.
This update is NOT save safe, as the TFC 4.2.0 was save breaking. If you want to continue to use the same world you will have to generate new chunks.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
