Changes
Ramesses' Curse · Changelog:about 1.2.6
Added: Seal of Kadesh Requirement
- Players must wear the Seal of Kadesh in its designated functional Curios slot to pick up and retain other items from this mod. Keeping the seal in the inventory or a cosmetic slot does not qualify.
- Restrictions now cover all items registered by this mod, including materials, weapons, consumables, and block items, rather than only its Curios accessories.
- Without the seal equipped, restricted items cannot be picked up. Blocking pickup does not delete the dropped item from the world.
- Restricted items obtained through commands, Creative mode, or other methods are removed during server checks from the player's inventory, hotbar, offhand, armor slots, cursor, and functional or cosmetic Curios slots.
- Creative players are also subject to these restrictions. Items from other mods are unaffected.
- The Seal of Kadesh itself remains exempt so players can obtain and equip it.
Accessory Effects
- Without the seal equipped, other Curios accessories from this mod cannot be equipped, and their attributes and abilities are suppressed.
- Added cleanup of relevant existing attributes and lasting effects, plus checks for totems, the Resonant Scarab, Heart of Duat, Inscription Bag, and delayed ring damage.
- Restricted accessories stored by Apep's sealing mechanic are also checked to prevent restoration from bypassing the requirement.
Item Descriptions
- Without the seal equipped, descriptions of other items from this mod become obfuscated. Item names remain readable.
- Added a readable requirement: Only when you wear the Seal of Kadesh will the dynasty answer you.
- Descriptions return to normal when the seal is correctly equipped.
- The seal itself is neither obfuscated nor given this additional tooltip.
Fixed: Unwanted Satiety Crystal Reissues
- Hunger debt checks and Satiety Crystal reconciliation and delivery now run only while the seal is equipped.
- Unequipping the seal stops reissues, preventing crystals from repeatedly entering the inventory and being removed.
- Clearing the debt clears pending deliveries. Before each delivery, the pending amount is recalculated from remaining debt and the player's own crystals currently in their inventory.
- Crystal use, recovery through crystal entities, and related riddle actions now check whether the seal is equipped.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
