Reverie 0.1.0 | Your First Dreams
The first public version of Reverie introduces a protected creative dreamscape built specifically for survival worlds.
Dream without limits
- Enter the Reverie by sleeping in a Dreamweaver’s Bed.
- Arrive at coordinates matching your location in the Overworld.
- Build and fly freely in Creative Mode.
- Awaken at your original location with your survival inventory safely restored.
- Return safely by using the dream bed or falling into the void.
Create persistent project spaces
- Turn beds into Dream Anchors for permanent project locations.
- Keep separate creative inventories for different anchored projects.
- Connect nearby Overworld beds to an established Dream Anchor.
- Share Dreamweaver’s Beds with configurable limits and guest costs.
Give figments form
- Place a Figment Cage to create a controlled, chunk-based area for mobs.
- Charge the cage through five visual states to expand its range.
- Clearly visualize the area where summoned creatures can exist.
- Configure population limits and permitted creatures.
Protect the waking world
- Survival inventories are securely backed up before entering.
- Dream items cannot cross back into survival.
- Advancements, experience, portals, player damage, and destructive explosions are restricted.
- Dangerous blocks and items are rejected regardless of how they are introduced.
- Curios and Accessories slots, including cosmetic slots, are supported.
- Administrative recovery and diagnostic tools provide additional safeguards.
A more expressive dream
- Added custom transition particles and sounds.
- Added bed occupancy and Dream Anchor visuals.
- Added charge-based Figment Cage textures and lighting.
- Added three Reverie advancements.
- Added clear, contextual feedback when the dream rejects an action.
This is the beginning of Reverie. Back up important worlds and report any unexpected mod interactions encountered during testing.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
