👽They're Out There, Man!👽
A 1.20.1 mod for Minecraft Forge (v.47.4.0+). Submission for SpookyJam2025.
Saucers
You are not alone. Flying saucers may come to observe you, your builds, or other mobs in the world. Sometimes, they might even deploy inhabitants for a quick scientific journey.
The rates of viewing are entirely configurable within the config file— which may be accessed by editing 'totm-common.txt' or by utilizing Mr. Crayfish's wonderful mod 'Configured'. By default, saucers are incredibly rare to keep things fresh for the player. This mod is best enjoyed when rates are low and surprises abound.
Spoiler
NOTE: Thunderstorms and saucers do not appear to mix. Scientists report that there's a chance that any saucer caught up in a harsh weather might end up crashing! Perhaps by using some special technology, we can rebuild it's Dark Matter Engine and use this otherworldly vehicle for ourselves!
Misc.
They're Out There, Man! [TOTM!] adds two unique paintings to the game, as well as some new archaeology loot.
These visitors from another world appear to worship the remains of their ancestors. Perhaps if we trade some of their dug-up bones, we might be able to acquire a piece of advanced technology.
