Redstone and hoppers now behave like the real world
Tiny grids got a redesigned fake level. A block changing inside a grid now runs the same steps it runs in the real world, in the same order, so redstone, hoppers and comparators stop drifting.
Fixed
- Comparators read hoppers and chests on time, including when a player or another hopper changes what's inside.
- Breaking a torch no longer leaves dust stuck powered.
- Item sorters work: the lower hopper unlocks when it should.
- Dust connects properly going up and down steps, including across glowstone, glass and sea lanterns.
- Repeaters, comparators, observers and torches keep vanilla timing, and circuits running across several grids tick in the same order as in the world.
- Redstone torches burn out when toggled too fast.
- Create belts keep running along their whole length after a Grid Save or after moving to a Sable sub-level, across grids too.
New
- Sculk sensors work inside a grid. Range counts in cells, and vibrations don't cross between the world and a grid.
/tinyblocks diffcompares a real space with a tiny one and tells you what differs./tinyblocksclient diffdoes the same from the client side.
For mod developers
- A vanilla block in a grid no longer goes through
onNeighborChanged: neighbour updates run inside the fake level. CustomPieceDefinitions still get it. SpaceDiffand the new parity tests are described in the developer guide.

Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
